There will be changes in operation of public transport, parking lots and customer service centres during Easter holidays
Trams, trolleybuses, buses
During Easter holidays, on March 30, 31 and April 1, 2, the public transport will run according to the holiday schedule.
On April 1 and 2, due to Easter events in the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, bus route No. 1 will be served by buses of larger capacity.
Those passengers having bought monthly tickets for working days shall take into account that these will not be valid on Friday, March 30, and Monday, April 2.
Customer service centre
On March 29, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8:00 till 17:00, but the six other customer service centres will be open as usually on working days – until 19:00. On March 29, Legal persons will be served in the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 from 8:00 until 16:00.
On March 30, April 1 and 2 all customer service centres will be closed.
On Saturday, March 31, the customer service centres will be open from 10:00 till 16:00, except the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be closed on this day.
Parking lots
Pay parking lots operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge on March 30, April 1 and 2, except the underground parking lot at Krišjāņa Valdemāra 5a (next to the House of Congresses), where parking services will be charged for according to the current tariffs.
On Saturday, March 31, municipal pay parking lots will work as usually on Saturdays. Parking lots in zones A, B, C, D will be open from 9:00 till 17:00, but in Old Riga from 6:00 till 24:00.
Minibuses, night transport
On Friday, March 30, Sunday, April 1, and on Monday, April 2, will run according to Sunday’s schedule, but on Saturday, March 31, according to Saturday’s schedule.
